There's something about going all out boho chic that gets me every time. A bit out of my comfort zone but so much fun none the less. Who doesn't want to be a boho princess? My favorite aspect of fashion is by far versatility. I love being able to transform from business woman in a hip hugging pencil skirt and blazer and then into a whimsical long flowing dress for a romantic rendezvous. But, I digress...The fringe on the vest and booties tie in so well with the maxi skirt (with a slight high low hemline) and the crop top. The wide brim fedora was made for indulging in your bohemian side. It's the perfect topper for this look. Very Coachella inspired, I might add. I've obsessed over this skirt so much since I got it last summer. It soon became my go-to lazy, no fuss, sunday attire on those scorching summer days. It transitioned so easily from skirt to dress with a simple skinny belt cinching the waist. (See here). I wonder what I will pair it with next?

Jess

Can you tell I'm anxiously waiting for spring to arrive? We are back to chilly weather now but last week was absolutely beautiful! I can't wait for more. I decided to go with a neutral pastel palate for this look. I love pairing feminine pieces like the nude platform sandals and baby pink blazer with a good ol' pair of ripped jeans. When all else fails jeans and a blazer will never do you wrong.

Jess

This past weekend we had such beautiful weather here in LA it was 80 degrees in the middle of winter! Saturday morning my boyfriend and I conquered our first hike of the new year at Runyon Canyon. Sunday we made a  trip to the Melrose Trading Post. There is always such great and unique pieces to find there. It is indeed a treasure hunt! A bright sunny day like this one called for bare legs, my favorite fringe booties and a great topper that I recently picked up at Cotton On for only $3! Love, love, love sales. Later, we stopped at The Counter for lunch. It's one of my favorite burger places and ended the day roaming around LACMA. I finally had a chance to see the famous Levitated Mass installation.  Hope you all had a great weekend as well! xo

One of the treasures I found at the flea market. Isn't it lovely? I have a weakness for statement necklaces.

I am far from a Mean Girl but love the movie! Brings back memories of middle school when my girlfriends and I would spent hours pausing and rewinding the movie until we nailed the dance moves to Jingle Bell Rock. Oh, to be young again. Now back to the look, I love a pop of color in any outfit. Went with a pink in the skirt and mixed and matched with a denim jacket for a casual touch and dressed it up with my favorite pair of black booties. Comfy-chic indeed.

Jess

My take on a business casual look.

It's actually been pretty chilly here in LA lately so layers are a must! I love the contrast effect of the crisp white blazer and the denim button up. Gives a casual chic look that's perfect for the office. And how fierce are these booties!?

Have a good weekend loves!

There is nothing quite like the feeling of wrapping a fab scarf around your neck. The stylish Rebecca Bloomwood in Confessions of a Shopaholic would agree. As an aspiring journalist and fashion enthusiast myself, this romantic comedy is one of my definite favorite movies! "The Girl in the Green Scarf" proved just how much a dazzling scarf can make you feel complete. I love the crimson hue, fishnet pattern and fringe detail of this one, haven't seen anything like it. It was a gift from my beautiful mother which makes it all the more special. Thank you mama!

Jess

Happy New Year!!

Twenty Thirteen. Can you believe it’s actually here? I, for one, adore this time of year. The holidays are special for sure, but the new year has its own kind of magic — one filled with positivity, hope, dreams, passion, and the chance to make this year even better than the last. What could be more beautiful than that? As we start a new year of blogging, I always like to take a little time to reflect on what should evolve on my site and what should stay the same. And there’s nothing like seeing how other bloggers approach their sites to give you plenty of inspiration!

Happy New Years!

Hope you all kicked off the year with a high note. Just wanted to say thank you for all your sweet comments that truly mean the world to me! My blog is starting to grow slowly but surely and I am incredibly excited to see what this year has in store for me. This will definitely be MY year and I know that if I continue to work hard on my blog and in my career many doors and opportunities will open up and I am oh so grateful! I ended the year filled with positivity and it is paying off. I will continue to set my dreams high and work my butt off to achieve them. I am a firm believer that hard work never goes unnoticed, it is always rewarded and if you give something your all there is absolutely no way you can fail. With that being said, here's my first post for the New Year! Enjoy!
