Hello ladies!
I have finally gotten around to working on these outfit posts (you may have already seen them if you follow me on
Instagram) now that I am temporarily working from home, which btw is an absolute blessing! There is nothing like setting your own hours and relishing in the simple joys of life like sleeping in and sipping coffee as you work all while wearing pajamas! The new job title motivated me to glam up my work space, so look out for an office decor post coming soon. With this post I am saying farewell to warm summer days as the weather here in California is finally starting to get chilly. But, I wouldn't be surprised by more sunny days ahead. Since I had quite a bundle of outfits to share with you all I just decided to compile them in one post. The more the merrier, right? So I hope you all enjoy them and let me know which is your favorite!
This flowy blue dress has made its mark in my closet for a few years now since it was a gift from my honey way back when we first started dating! Now almost 5 years later, I treasure it just as much. I love the print and the light fabric, which is completely sheer so shorts underneath are a must! It also serves a dual purpose as a bathing suit cover up for those breezy beach days. I wore this look for a brunch date and dressed it up with a crisp white blazer, my go-to nude wedges and added a dash of color blocking with a pink clutch.

For a girl on a budget using pieces in my wardrobe in a variety of ways is a must! Finding a new way to style a piece can be a challenge but the end result can give you the same thrill as buying something new. This animal print top is actually a mini dress! I simply folded it up and wala! It's a cute peplum top. I've also worn it as a mini dress
here and paired it with a flowy high-low skirt
here.

I absolutely adore these floral shorts. I love that I can dress them up with heels or wedges or dress them down with some casual sandals. They never fail me. See how I styled them with neutral colors
here.

This summer I fell head over heels for these creme lace shorts. I lost count of how many times I've worn them already. And best of all they were less than $20 from Marshalls. I fell so hard for these shorts I was craving another pair in the worst way. I hunted down a pair of black ones that will soon grace my blog as well. They go so beautifully with just about anything and, well, they just make me really happy. I went all nude for this outfit and I am loving this J.Crew inspired bubble necklace from ebay.
Happy Styling!
xoxo
Jess
